DAY 1 ISTANBUL AIRPORT – MILAN – SAVONA
Meeting at Istanbul Airport International Terminal at 03:30 AM, followed by departure to Milan on Turkish Airlines flight TK1873 at 08:15. Upon arrival in Milan at 09:05 local time, transfer to Savona port where the COSTA TOSCANA ship will depart. After completing ship check-in and passport procedures, guests will settle into their cabins and have free time. The ship will depart from the port at 17:30. Dinner and overnight on board.
DAY 2 MARSEILLE (AIX-EN-PROVENCE)
The ship will dock at Marseille port at 09:00 AM. After breakfast, there will be free time for shopping and personal activities. Guests who wish may join the "Marseille City Tour & Aix-en-Provence Tour" organized by our guide as an optional extra excursion. Starting in Marseille, a major maritime city, our tour will first visit the "Notre Dame de la Garde Cathedral" located on a high hill. Following this visit, other sights to see include the Longchamps Fountain, Saint Charles train station, the old town, Hotel de Ville, and the marina area. Later, we will travel to Aix-en-Provence, located 40 minutes from Marseille. Our tour will begin with the famous St. Saviour's Cathedral, dating back to the 12th century, known for its Romanesque front facade and covered arched walkway. Subsequently, during a pleasant walk through the old part of the city, you will see the ancient caravanserais and the Mazarino district, designed in the 17th century by the brother of Cardinal Mazarin. The ship will depart from the port at 18:00. Dinner and overnight on board.
DAY 3 BARCELONA
The ship will dock at Barcelona port at 09:00 AM. After breakfast, there will be free time for personal activities. Guests who wish may join the "Barcelona City Tour" organized by our guide as an optional extra excursion. Our city tour in Barcelona, one of Europe's most beautiful metropolises, will begin with a special bus waiting for us at the port. Among the places we will visit are La Rambla Street, the Cristoforo Colombo Monument, Maremagnum Artificial Port, Barceloneta Beach, the Olympic area and harbor, Catalunya Square, Paseu de Gracia street where Gaudi's houses have been converted into a street museum, and his masterpiece, Sagrada Familia. During the tour, we will ascend Montjuic hill to take scenic photos. After free time for shopping, we will return to the ship. The ship will depart from the port at 19:00. Dinner and overnight on board.
DAY 4 PALMA DE MALLORCA
The ship will dock at Palma de Mallorca port at 07:30. After breakfast, there will be free time for shopping and personal activities. Guests who wish may join the "Palma de Mallorca City Tour & Valldemossa & Frederic Chopin Museum Tour" organized by our guide as an optional extra excursion. This full-day tour begins by introducing the tourism paradise of Palma de Mallorca, a city with a population of 300,000. Among the sights to see are Bellver Castle, dating from the 14th century, the famous Palma Cathedral from the 13th century, and the nearby Almudania Palace, viewed from the outside. Afterward, after viewing the historic Arena, the symbol of the city, panoramically, we will head towards Valldemossa, located in the southwest of the island, also known as the Valley of Moses. In our tour, Valldemossa, a magnificent village used as a summer residence by kings during the Middle Ages and a resting place for monks, will be our next stop. By exploring this area and taking numerous photos, we will have the opportunity to understand the soul of the island. Additionally, in Valldemossa, we will visit the monastery where the world-famous French composer Chopin and writer George Sand created some of their finest works, witnessing their emotional stories here. After the tour, we will return to the ship. The ship will depart from the port at 17:00. Dinner and overnight on board.
DAY 5 AT SEA
On this day spent cruising at sea, the ship will offer many alternatives. Those who wish can enjoy the ship's open and indoor pools, jacuzzis, and sunbathing areas. Others can shop in duty-free stores, try their luck in the casino, or enjoy various music and entertainment offered in dozens of bars. A variety of dining options will also be available throughout the day. Dinner and overnight on board.
DAY 6 PALERMO
The ship will dock at Palermo port at 08:00 AM. After breakfast, there will be free time for shopping and personal activities. Guests who wish may join the "Palermo & Cefalu Tour" organized by our guide as an optional extra excursion. After arriving in Palermo, the capital of Sicily, we proceed to Cefalu, one of the most beautiful holiday resorts of Palermo and Sicily. With its medieval structures, this town is a place perfect for shopping and fully experiencing the spirit of Sicily. Among the places we will visit during the tour are the Norman-era cathedral and the ancient laundry house. After free time, we will return to Palermo and take a tour of the city. Then, we visit the Monreale Monastery, admiring the total of 6,340 m² of mosaic decorations depicting scenes from the Old and New Testaments. Finally, we return to the ship. The ship will depart from the port at 16:30. Dinner and overnight on board.
DAY 7 CIVITAVECCHIA / ROME
The ship will dock at Civitavecchia port at 08:30. After breakfast, there will be free time for personal activities. Guests who wish may join the "Rome City Tour" organized by our guide as an optional extra excursion. On this full-day tour, after a 1 hour 15-minute journey by bus waiting for us at Civitavecchia Port, we arrive in Rome and take a panoramic bus tour. Among the sights to see are Castel Sant'Angelo, the Tiber River, Borghese Park, Via Veneto, Piazza del Popolo, Piazza della Repubblica, Via Nazionale, the Theatre of Marcellus, Circo Massimo, and the Forum areas. Afterwards, we explore Rome's famous squares on foot. Among the places to see are the Pantheon Square, Navona Square, the Trevi Fountain, and the Spanish Steps, concluding our tour before taking a shopping break. At the end of the tour, we return to the ship. The ship will depart from the port at 19:00. Dinner and overnight on board.
DAY 8 SAVONA – MILAN – ISTANBUL AIRPORT
The ship will dock at Savona port at 08:30 AM. After breakfast, we complete the ship disembarkation procedures and leave the ship. We then depart for Milan Airport via a private vehicle waiting for us at the port. Upon arrival at the airport, after completing check-in and passport procedures, we depart for Istanbul on Turkish Airlines flight TK1876 at 18:35. Arrival at Istanbul Airport at 23:40 local time. End of our tour.
