Day 1 Istanbul – London
Meeting at the Turkish Airlines counter in front of the Istanbul Airport international departures terminal, 3 hours before departure. After baggage, ticket and passport procedures, we depart for London on Turkish Airlines flight TK1243 at 15:15. Upon arrival in London at 16:20 local time, we begin exploring the enchanting works of London city with our vehicle waiting for us in the area. Among the cities visited by millions of tourists worldwide each year, during our city tour in London, you will see Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park, Piccadilly Circus, Big Ben, Trafalgar Square, Parliament Building, Westminster St. Peter’s Church and Westminster Bridge, Oxford and Regent shopping streets, and the Thames River. After our tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2 London
After having breakfast at our hotel, free time. Guests who wish can join the extra organized London Icons Tour (London Eye, Westminster & Thames River Boat Tour).(120 GBP)Our tour begins with one of London’s most impressive symbols, the London Eye. With a height of 135 meters and 32 capsules, London Eye is one of Europe’s largest Ferris wheels, named after its capsules representing London’s 32 boroughs. During the enjoyable journey inside the glass capsules, we will have the opportunity to view the Thames River and London’s unique panoramic scenery from above. Then we move to the historic and political center of the city, the Westminster Area. During our panoramic tour, places to be seen include Westminster Abbey, where the British Royal Family holds coronations and important state ceremonies, Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, Hyde Park, and London’s world-famous entertainment and theater center, West End. In the final part of our tour, we will have the opportunity to see London’s historic bridges and iconic structures from a different perspective with an enjoyable boat tour on the Thames River, considered the heart of London. After our tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
Day 2 London
After having breakfast at our hotel, free time. The city, which hosts the world-famous Oxford University, offers visitors a unique experience with its centuries-old history, impressive stone architecture, narrow streets, and lively student atmosphere. During our panoramic city tour, we will have the opportunity to closely explore historic university buildings, impressive squares, and Oxford’s unique atmosphere. After our Oxford tour, we turn our route to Bicester Village Outlet, one of England’s most popular shopping destinations. Need to Know
- To be able to shop and spend in all countries included in the program during the tour, it is sufficient for us to have Euros. In regions where local currency is used, the guide will assist with currency exchange.
- Comfortable walking shoes or sneakers should be preferred during the tour. It is advisable to bring a cardigan or similar clothing for the evening.
- On our tours, seat rotation (seat changing) is applied daily in the seating plan, so fixed seats and front seat guarantees are not provided. Seat changes are organized by the vehicle guide.
- When entering Turkey from abroad, there is a mandatory minimum stay of 3 days to bring goods (alcohol, cigarettes, etc.).
- Duty-free shopping limit when entering Turkey from abroad: Cigarettes: 3 cartons, Alcoholic Beverages: 1 liter of alcoholic beverages (excluding spirits with more than 22% alcohol, wine, and champagne), Alcoholic Beverages: 2 liters of alcoholic beverages (including spirits with less than 22% alcohol, wine, and champagne), Perfume: 600 ml, Makeup or Skin Care Products: 5 items, Chocolate and Confectionery: 2 kg, Coffee: 1 kg, Tea: 1 kg
- In the tour program, guides may make changes to the program flow while ensuring that all places mentioned in the program are shown, depending on weather and road conditions.
- Guests who register for the tour have the right to cancel free of charge up to 30 days before the tour date. If the cancellation is made less than 30 days before the tour date, a 30% penalty applies; if 20 days or less remain, a 100% penalty applies. Documents such as hospital reports obtained from Turkish authorities, work leave certificates, etc., submitted with the participant's cancellation request, are unfortunately not accepted for cancellations of hotels and services to be received outside Turkey.
- Our tour program is organized with a minimum participation requirement of 25 people. If sufficient participation for the trip is not achieved, the final cancellation notification date is 20 days before the tour departure. Tours cancelled due to insufficient participation will be notified by Viyatravel.
- In cases where only category information is provided without specifying names in the tour program and/or options exist for the same destination, the hotel(s) will be notified by Viyatravel 2 days before the tour departure.
- During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at distances exceeding the specified kilometers. In such cases, information will be provided by Viyatravel 15 days before the tour departure date.
- Triple rooms are subject to hotel availability; in these rooms, the bed assigned to the 3rd person is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Since extra beds are foldable or called coachbeds, participants booking triple rooms for the 3rd person and/or children are deemed to have accepted any potential crowding in the room and the type of bed.
- Breakfasts included in the tour package are served according to the breakfast culture of the country visited, generally as a limited continental menu consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee, and may be served in a separate hall allocated for the group.
- Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours lasting a maximum of 2-3 hours, organized for general introduction of cities, conducted panoramically with guide commentary from inside the vehicle, and do not include entry to museums or historical sites. Panoramic tours, including other tours specified in the program, may not take place on the scheduled day and time due to restrictions imposed by local authorities preventing visitation or entry, closure due to any event, or impossibility of the tour due to weather conditions. In such cases, Viyatravel is not responsible for the inability to conduct these tours. Some tours may be conducted via public transport or on foot, within available means, at points where roads are closed or vehicle access is not permitted.
- Waiting times at customs gates crossed by road during travel may exceed standard limits; Viyatravel cannot be held responsible for any negative consequences arising from such waiting times.
- Extra tours are organized by the local Viyatravel we serve with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people. If sufficient numbers are not met, tours may not take place, or extra tour prices, content, and vehicles used may vary based on the number of participants. Additionally, tour dates and times may be changed by the guide depending on whether museums and historical sites at the destinations are open or closed, and weather conditions.
- Extra tours are optional and depend on the participant's preference. Passengers who do not wish to participate in extra tours organized during the tour are deemed to have agreed to wait at a suitable rest facility along the route. These passengers will be dropped off at the roadside rest facility before the extra tour begins and picked up from that point after the main tour is completed.
- Check-in and boarding procedures for those participating in air tours are personal processes and must be completed by the guest at the airport counters of the relevant airline or online via the airline's website before the flight.
- Viyatravel is not responsible for guests failing to board their flights because they did not arrive at the specified airport at the times announced by Viyatravel for tour participation, failed to complete check-in and boarding procedures on time, or completed them on time but did not board the plane. All costs for new round-trip flight tickets required for passengers who miss their flight to join the tour, as well as all transfer costs in the destination area, are borne by the passengers themselves.
- Viyatravel acts as an intermediary between the passenger and the airline and is subject to the Hague Protocol of 28.09.1955. There may be risks of delays in scheduled and special flights, or flight times may change prior to the existing tour and flight. Viyatravel is obligated to notify of such changes as soon as possible. The passenger purchases the tour accepting the risk of time changes. Children aged 0-2 years do not pay airport tax or airport service fees.
- Vehicle types used in our tours are classified as follows based on the number of persons. For each tour, vehicle types are determined according to the number of participants:
