After the morning breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Seville. Upon arrival, our city tour begins. Seville is a city renowned for its historical and cultural richness, located in the Andalusia region of Spain. During our city tour along the banks of the Guadalquivir River, we will first visit Maria Luisa Park and Plaza America, which include the Plaza de Espana. We will also see the Seville Cathedral (exterior view), the third-largest cathedral in the world, where Christopher Columbus's tomb is located; right next to the cathedral stands the Giralda Minaret, the last remaining part of the mosque upon which the cathedral was built, commemorating the Umayyad Caliphate of Andalusia; and the Alcazar (exterior view), the palace of the Castilian kings. During our visit here, we will see the Lion Statue, Cathedral Square, and the famous Jewish Quarter (El Call). Afterward, we head toward the town of Figueres. Figueres, located northeast of Girona, is known as the birthplace of Salvador Dalí. The city is closely associated with the life and works of the renowned Spanish painter Salvador Dalí. The most important tourist attraction in Figueres is the Salvador Dalí Museum. Dalí established this museum to leave something behind in his birthplace and to exhibit his works.
