DAY 1                ISTANBUL – NAPLES – ROME

We meet our valued guests in front of the Turkish Airlines counter at the Istanbul Airport International Departures Terminal. After baggage and ticket procedures, we take the scheduled Turkish Airlines flight. Upon arrival, we begin a panoramic tour of Naples with our private bus waiting for us at the airport. During the city tour, we will visit Piazza del Plebiscito (the central square of Naples), the Royal Palace built in the 17th century, Castel Nuovo (New Castle), the Basilica of San Francesco di Paola (inspired by St. Peter’s Square and the Pantheon in Rome), Galleria Umberto I (housing shops), the Teatro San Carlo (built in 1737 and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site), and the Port of Naples. After the panoramic city tour, there is an option to join the Pompeii Ancient City Tour organized as an extra by our guide (65€ per person). The city of Pompeii remained buried under 7 meters of soil for 18 centuries following the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. Following excavations from that period, we will have the opportunity to see the houses, palaces, and petrified human remains. After the tour, we depart for Rome. Upon arrival in Rome, we transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 2                ROME

After breakfast at the hotel, we conduct a panoramic tour of Rome. During the city tour, we will visit Castel Sant’Angelo (where Cem Sultan was imprisoned), Piazza Venezia (where Mussolini addressed the public) and the monument to Vittorio Emanuele II, the Colosseum (hosting gladiator fights), the Trevi Fountain (famous from the film La Dolce Vita), the Spanish Steps consisting of 135 steps, and the fountain featuring a sunken ship located near the Spanish Steps. Free time after the tour. Guests who wish may join the Outlet & Lakes Region & Vatican Tour organized as an extra by our guide (80€ per person). After visiting the region known for its natural beauty where Popes spent their summers and the village of Nemi famous for mountain strawberries, which you will want to live in forever, we enjoy free time for shopping at Italy’s most famous outlet area, Castel Romano Outlet. Then we proceed to St. Peter’s Square, considered the center of Christianity. Upon arrival, we have free time to visit the Basilica and the Square. Guests who wish may also join the Rome by Night Tour organized as an extra by our guide (35€ per person). Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 3                ROME – FLORENCE

After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Florence. Guests who wish may join the Orvieto Tour organized as an extra along the route by our guide (35€ per person). Orvieto holds an important place in Italian art and general history and boasts extraordinary natural beauty. After visiting the ancient city center and the Orvieto Duomo, we proceed to Florence. Upon arrival, we begin a panoramic tour of Florence. During the tour, we will see the Arno River dividing Florence, the Ponte Vecchio bridge famous for its jewelers, Palazzo Vecchio (where the Medici family ruled Florence), Piazza Della Signoria (home to masterpieces of the Renaissance such as the statues of Hercules and David), the Santa Maria del Fiore Duomo (featuring Italy’s third highest dome), and the Baptistery famous for its doors. At the end of the tour, we transfer to our hotel in Montecatini. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 4                FLORENCE        

After breakfast at the hotel, we have free time. Guests who wish may join the Pisa & Portofino Tour organized as an extra by our guide (120€ per person). During the tour, after visiting the Leaning Tower of Pisa and the Piazza dei Miracoli, we will travel by boat to the world-famous town of Portofino, the subject of many songs. You won’t be able to get enough of this small municipality located within a national park. After the tour, we transfer back to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 5                FLORENCE – MILAN

After breakfast, we depart for Milan. Upon arrival, we begin our panoramic tour of Milan. During the tour, we will visit the Milan Cathedral (Milano Duomo), Italy’s second-largest church which took approximately 500 years to complete, Fortezza castle, and Galleria Vittorio Emmanuele (home to some of the world’s most famous fashion stores). After the tour, guests who wish may join the Lake Como Tour organized as an extra by our guide (40€ per person). We visit Lake Como, a glacial lake in the Lombardy region, and its surroundings, stretching at the foot of the Alps with breathtaking views. Then, we are given free time to explore this beautiful lakeside town. After the tour, we transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 6                MILAN – VENICE

After breakfast, we depart for Venice. Guests who wish may join the Verona & Lake Garda Tour organized as an extra along the route by our guide (55€ per person). During the tour, we will visit the house of Romeo and Juliet (subject of history’s greatest love story), Verona Arena, Scaligero Bridge with its unique architecture, and Verona Cathedral. After the Verona tour, we will visit Lake Garda, one of the most beautiful lakes in Northern Italy. Then, our journey to Venice continues from where it left off. Upon arrival, we begin a panoramic tour of Venice. During the city tour, we will see the famous St. Mark’s Square and Basilica, the Bridge of Sighs (where prisoners looked at Venice one last time before entering prison), the Grand Canal and the Rialto Bridge spanning it, the Doge’s Palace, the Clock Tower, and the Church of Giorgio Maggiore. After the city tour, guests who wish may join the Gondola Tour, a optional activity organized by our guide and a symbol of Venice (40€ per person). After the tour, we transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 7                VENICE – LJUBLJANA   

After breakfast, we depart for Ljubljana. Guests who wish may join the Bled Tour organized as an extra along the route by our guide (35€ per person). During the tour, you will not be able to stop photographing Lake Bled, which is 2 km long and 1.3 km wide, formed by the influence of the Bohinj glacier, the hills surrounding the lake, its reflections in the water, traditional boats, its magnificent island with a church, and the swans around the lake. You can spend enjoyable time walking around the lake or renting a bicycle. After the tour, our journey to Ljubljana continues from where it left off. Upon arrival, we begin a panoramic tour of Ljubljana. Places we will see during the city tour include the Ljubljana River, the Parliament building, the University of Ljubljana, Prešeren Square, and St. Nicholas’ Cathedral. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 8                LJUBLJANA – ISTANBUL   

After breakfast, we check out of the hotel early in the morning and transfer to Ljubljana Airport. After completing baggage and check-in procedures, we depart for Istanbul on the scheduled Turkish Airlines flight. Upon arrival, our tour and services conclude.
